Alogliptin, Metformin falls under ANTIDIABETES DRUGS — the group Jackfruit interacts with.

Theoretically, jackfruit might increase the risk of hypoglycemia when taken with antidiabetes drugs.
Small clinical studies show that jackfruit flour and leaf extract can reduce fasting and postprandial blood glucose. Monitor blood glucose levels closely. Dose adjustments might be necessary.

Here's the simple version: Kazano combines alogliptin and metformin, two medicines that already work to lower your blood sugar. Some small studies suggest that concentrated jackfruit products (think jackfruit flour or leaf extracts, not a slice of the fruit) may nudge blood sugar down a little on their own. Stack that on top of your diabetes medicine, and the two could add up, raising the chance of low blood sugar (hypoglycemia).

That can feel like shakiness, sweating, dizziness, a racing heart, or confusion. The good news is this is mostly theoretical, based on how jackfruit behaves rather than strong human proof, and eating jackfruit as a regular food is unlikely to be a problem. If you want to use a jackfruit supplement, check your sugars closely and talk with your pharmacist or doctor first.
