Ibrutinib falls under ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS — the group Jackfruit interacts with.

Theoretically, jackfruit latex might increase the risk of bleeding when taken with anticoagulant or antiplatelet drugs.
Jackfruit latex, which is the sap from jackfruit bark, contains chemicals that might increase the risk of bleeding. In vitro research shows that jackfruit latex contains a glycoprotein constituent that prolongs the activated partial thrombin time (aPTT) and reduces the activity of blood coagulation factors XIa and alpha-XIIa. Jackfruit latex also contains a protease constituent that has been shown to have fibrinolytic activity in vitro. Other parts of jackfruit, including the fruit and leaves, have not been shown to contain chemicals with fibrinolytic and anticoagulant activity.

Here's the thing to know about ibrutinib (Imbruvica): it already raises your risk of bleeding and bruising on its own. That's a well-known side effect, since the drug affects how your platelets work. So if you add something else that may thin the blood, the worry is that those effects stack up.

Now, the bleeding concern with jackfruit comes specifically from the latex (the sticky sap from the bark), and the evidence is only from lab studies, not people. The fruit you eat at the dinner table hasn't shown this effect, so enjoying jackfruit as food is very unlikely to be a problem. I'd just steer clear of concentrated latex products. If you ever notice easy bruising, nosebleeds, or unusual bleeding, loop in your doctor or pharmacist.

What Is Ibrutinib Used For?

Brand name: Imbruvica

Imbruvica (ibrutinib) is used in adults to treat chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) and small lymphocytic lymphoma (SLL), including cases with a specific genetic change called 17p deletion. It is also used in adults to treat Waldenström's macroglobulinemia (WM), a rare type of slow-growing blood cancer.

Imbruvica is also approved for adults and children aged 1 year and older with chronic graft-versus-host disease (cGVHD) — a serious immune complication that can occur after a stem cell or bone marrow transplant — when at least one prior treatment has not worked.
