Sotagliflozin falls under ANTIDIABETES DRUGS — the group Jackfruit interacts with.

Theoretically, jackfruit might increase the risk of hypoglycemia when taken with antidiabetes drugs.
Small clinical studies show that jackfruit flour and leaf extract can reduce fasting and postprandial blood glucose. Monitor blood glucose levels closely. Dose adjustments might be necessary.

Here's the simple version: Sotagliflozin (Inpefa) already lowers your blood sugar, and some small studies suggest concentrated jackfruit products (like jackfruit flour or leaf extract) can nudge blood sugar down too. Put them together and those effects could stack, which in theory raises your chance of low blood sugar (hypoglycemia). That might feel like shakiness, sweating, dizziness, a fast heartbeat, or confusion.

Keep in mind this is a theoretical concern based on how these work, not proven harm. Eating jackfruit as a normal food is very different from taking concentrated supplement doses, and the food amounts are far less likely to matter. If you want to use jackfruit supplements, check with your pharmacist or doctor first and watch your glucose readings a bit more closely.
