Brigatinib falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Jequirity interacts with.

In vitro research shows that jequirity extract inhibits CYP3A4 enzymes. Theoretically, taking jequirity may inhibit the metabolism of CYP3A4 substrates.

First things first: jequirity is not something you should ever take. Its seeds contain abrin, a poison in the same family as ricin, and there's no safe or proven use for it. So please don't treat this as a supplement question so much as a safety one.

On the lab-test level, jequirity extract has been shown to slow down CYP3A4, the enzyme that helps clear brigatinib (Alunbrig) from your body. In theory, blocking that enzyme could let brigatinib build up, which might mean stronger side effects like high blood pressure, slowed heart rate, cough, or breathing trouble. But this is only test-tube evidence, rated unlikely and minor. The bigger concern by far is the toxin itself. If you've been exposed to jequirity, call your doctor or poison control right away.
