Why this applies to Donepezil

Donepezil falls under CYTOCHROME P450 2D6 (CYP2D6) SUBSTRATES — the group N,n-dmpea interacts with.

In vitro research shows that N,N-DMPEA strongly inhibits cytochrome P450 2D6 (CYP2D6). Theoretically, concomitant use with drugs metabolized by CYP2D6 might increase the risk for adverse effects from these drugs.
Some drugs metabolized by CYP2D6 include amitriptyline (Elavil), clozapine (Clozaril), codeine, desipramine (Norpramin), donepezil (Aricept), fentanyl (Duragesic), flecainide (Tambocor), fluoxetine (Prozac), meperidine (Demerol), methadone (Dolophine), metoprolol (Lopressor, Toprol XL), olanzapine (Zyprexa), ondansetron (Zofran), tramadol (Ultram), trazodone (Desyrel), and others.

Here's the gist for your donepezil (Aricept): your liver uses an enzyme called CYP2D6 to help clear this medicine out. In lab (test tube) studies, N,N-DMPEA appears to block that enzyme. If that holds true in real people, donepezil could linger longer and build up, which may turn up its usual side effects.

With donepezil that often means more nausea, diarrhea, loss of appetite, muscle cramps, a slower heart rate, or trouble sleeping. I want to be honest, though: this warning rests only on lab data, not human studies, so it's theoretical. N,N-DMPEA itself is a poorly studied stimulant ingredient I'd be cautious with regardless. Please run this combination by your pharmacist or doctor before mixing them.
