Tadalafil falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Passion Flower interacts with.

Theoretically, passion flower might decrease the effects of CYP3A4 substrates.
In vitro research suggests that passion flower can induce CYP3A4 enzymes, albeit to a much lower degree than rifampin, a known CYP3A4 inducer.

Here's the gist for tadalafil (Cialis): your liver uses an enzyme called CYP3A4 to clear it from your body. Lab studies hint that passion flower may gently speed that enzyme up. In theory, that could clear tadalafil a little faster and make it work slightly less well, so you might notice a weaker effect for your erectile dysfunction, BPH symptoms, or whatever you're treating.

Honestly, I wouldn't lose sleep over this one. The evidence is only from test-tube and animal research, the effect was much weaker than known strong inducers, and it's rated a minor interaction. Tadalafil isn't a prodrug, so this doesn't make it dangerous. If you take both and feel it's not working as well, just mention it to your pharmacist or doctor.

About Tadalafil

What Is Tadalafil Used For?

Brand names: Cialis, Tadliq

Tadalafil tablets (including Cialis and generic tadalafil) are used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED), the symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH — an enlarged prostate), or both conditions together. When used with the drug finasteride to start BPH treatment, this combination is recommended for up to 26 weeks.

Adcirca, Alyq (tablets), and Tadliq (oral suspension) are indicated specifically for pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH — high blood pressure in the lungs), to improve the ability to exercise.
