Here's the thing to know about this combo. Your medication contains phenobarbital, a barbiturate that already has strong sedating effects, and belladonna, which can add its own drowsiness. Shepherd's purse has been reported to have a mild calming or sedative quality of its own. Put them together and the worry is simply that the sleepiness could stack up, leaving you more drowsy, foggy, or unsteady than usual.

I want to be honest about the evidence though. This is a theoretical concern based on how these things work, not something proven in solid human studies. Still, since phenobarbital is potent, I'd play it safe. Please check with your pharmacist or doctor before pairing these two, and watch for extra grogginess if you do.
