Here's the concern with pairing turmeric and Thelin (sitaxsentan). This medication, used for pulmonary arterial hypertension, is already known for being tough on the liver. In fact, liver safety is one of the main reasons doctors monitor people taking it closely. So you don't want anything else adding extra stress to your liver at the same time.

Turmeric, especially in concentrated, high-dose supplement forms (the kind made to absorb better), has been linked in rare reports to liver irritation. This worry is mostly theoretical and based on scattered case reports, not strong studies, so don't panic. Cooking with turmeric as a spice is very unlikely to matter. Still, before adding a supplement, run it by your doctor or pharmacist first.
