Inotersen falls under ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS — the group Vinpocetine interacts with.

Vinpocetine might increase the risk of bleeding when taken with anticoagulant or antiplatelet drugs.
Clinical research shows that vinpocetine decreases red blood cell aggregation, as well as plasma and whole blood viscosity. This effect has been seen with intravenous vinpocetine 1 mg/kg and oral vinpocetine 30 mg daily. Vinpocetine also seems to have antiplatelet effects.

Here's the thing to keep an eye on with Inotersen (Tegsedi). This injection, used for nerve damage from hereditary ATTR amyloidosis, already carries its own real risk of lowering your platelet count, which can lead to bleeding and bruising. It actually comes with regular blood monitoring for that very reason.

Vinpocetine seems to have its own mild blood-thinning, antiplatelet effect. So stacking it on top of Inotersen could nudge your bleeding risk higher. Watch for things like easy bruising, nosebleeds, bleeding gums, or unusual fatigue. The evidence here is modest, but since Inotersen already affects platelets, I'd play it safe. Please loop in your doctor or pharmacist before adding vinpocetine, rather than starting or stopping anything on your own.
