Glipizide falls under CYTOCHROME P450 2C9 (CYP2C9) SUBSTRATES — the group Vinpocetine interacts with.

Theoretically, vinpocetine might increase levels of drugs metabolized by CYP2C9.
In vitro research shows that vinpocetine weakly inhibits CYP2C9. However, this effect has not been reported in humans.

Here's the gist with glipizide and vinpocetine. Your body relies on a liver enzyme called CYP2C9 to break glipizide down and clear it out. In lab dish studies, vinpocetine appears to weakly block that enzyme. If that happened in real life, glipizide could hang around a bit longer than usual, which in theory means a stronger blood-sugar-lowering effect and more risk of low blood sugar (shakiness, sweating, dizziness, confusion).

The important part: this is only a test-tube finding, and it has not been seen in actual people. So I wouldn't lose sleep over it. Still, if you take both, it's smart to check your sugars and mention the supplement to your pharmacist or doctor before starting it.
