Hydrochlorothiazide, Methyldopa falls under DIURETIC DRUGS — the group Wahoo interacts with.

Theoretically, concomitant use of potassium-depleting diuretics with wahoo can increase the risk of cardiac glycoside toxicity due to potassium depletion. Some diuretics that can deplete potassium include chlorothiazide (Diuril), chlorthalidone (Thalitone), furosemide (Lasix), hydrochlorothiazide (HCTZ, Hydrodiuril, Microzide), and others.

Here's the concern with combining Wahoo and your blood pressure medicine. Your pill contains hydrochlorothiazide, a water pill that can flush potassium out of your body over time. Wahoo, meanwhile, carries natural heart-active compounds called cardenolides (similar to digoxin). When potassium runs low, those heart compounds can hit harder and become more toxic, which may show up as nausea, palpitations, dizziness, or an irregular heartbeat.

To be fair, this is a theoretical interaction based on how these substances work, not on solid human studies. But honestly, the bigger problem is Wahoo itself. It's a poisonous plant with no proven benefit and no safe dose. Please don't take it, and check with your pharmacist or doctor before adding any supplement.
