- Vitamin C is an antioxidant involved in over three hundred metabolic functions in the body, including tissue growth and repair, adrenal gland function, healthy gums, and, most importantly, it supports and promotes a healthy immune system. Bioflavonoids act synergistically with vitamin C to support the antioxidant activity that protects structure of capillaries, as well as the collagen forming activity that maintains healthy capillaries. Adding bioflavonoids promotes the absorption of vitamin C from foods and supplements.
