Alogliptin, Pioglitazone falls under ANTIDIABETES DRUGS — the group Agaricus Mushroom interacts with.

Theoretically, taking agaricus mushroom with antidiabetes drugs might increase the risk of hypoglycemia.
In one clinical study in patients with type 2 diabetes who are stabilized on conventional oral hypoglycemic agents, 3 of 29 patients taking an agaricus mushroom extract 500 mg three times daily for 12 weeks reported hypoglycemia, compared to one of 29 patients in the placebo group.

Oseni combines two diabetes medicines, alogliptin and pioglitazone, that both work to lower your blood sugar. The concern here is simple: Agaricus mushroom may have a mild blood-sugar-lowering effect of its own. Stack that on top of your medication and your sugar could dip lower than intended. That might show up as shakiness, sweating, dizziness, a fast heartbeat, or feeling suddenly hungry or foggy.

I want to be honest about how strong this is. The evidence is mostly theoretical, and in one small study only a few people taking concentrated mushroom extract noticed low sugar. A serving in cooking is unlikely to matter much. If you want to try a supplement dose, check in with your pharmacist or doctor first and keep an eye on your readings.
