Here's the simple version: prazosin already lowers your blood pressure by relaxing your blood vessels. Andrographis, at least in animal studies, may nudge blood pressure down a little too. Stack the two together and they could add up, so your pressure might dip more than you'd like.

With prazosin specifically, watch for the "first-dose" type effects, dizziness, lightheadedness, or feeling faint when you stand up quickly. I want to be honest that this concern comes from lab and animal research, not solid human studies, so it's more of a theoretical caution than a proven problem. Still, if you're already on prazosin, chat with your pharmacist or doctor before adding andrographis, and stand up slowly so you don't get caught off guard.

Prazosin hydrochloride capsules are used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). Lowering blood pressure reduces the risk of serious cardiovascular events, including strokes and heart attacks. It can be used alone or combined with other blood pressure medications, such as diuretics (water pills) or beta-blockers.
