Brompheniramine, Dextromethorphan, Phenylephrine falls under Serotonergic Drugs — the group Ashwagandha interacts with.

Some animal studies have reported that ashwagandha can enhance serotonergic transmission by altering certain serotonin (5-HT) receptors. However, there is no evidence to suggest that ashwagandha increases the risk of serotonin-related effects, and there have been no published case reports of serotonin syndrome when combined with other serotonergic drugs. Nevertheless, due to the lack of extensive studies on the matter and the fact that ashwagandha appears to affect serotonergic pathways, it would be prudent to exercise caution when combining it with drugs that affect serotonin. The piece of this combo cough and cold product that matters here is the dextromethorphan, the cough suppressant. It gently nudges serotonin activity in the brain. Ashwagandha may do something similar based on a few animal studies, so in theory stacking the two could add up.

That said, this is a minor, possible concern with weak evidence. There are no real-world reports of serotonin syndrome from this pairing. If you ever did notice things like agitation, a racing heart, sweating, shivering, or feeling jittery, that would be worth checking on. For most healthy adults using Dimetapp DM short-term, this isn't alarming, but it's smart to run it by your pharmacist or doctor first, especially if you take other serotonin-affecting medicines.
