Chlorprothixene falls under ANTICHOLINERGIC DRUGS — the group Bacopa interacts with.

Theoretically, concurrent use might decrease the effectiveness of both agents.
Bacopa seems to inhibit acetylcholinesterase and might increase acetylcholine levels, which could counteract the effects of anticholinergic drugs. Similarly, anticholinergic drugs might counteract the cholinergic effects of bacopa.

Here's the gist with chlorprothixene (Taractan), an older antipsychotic that has anticholinergic activity, meaning it dampens a brain chemical called acetylcholine. Bacopa appears to do the opposite in lab work, nudging acetylcholine levels up. So in theory the two could tug against each other, and each might work a little less well than expected.

I want to be honest about how soft this is. This is a theoretical concern based on how the two behave in animal and lab studies, not real-world reports in people, and the chance of you actually noticing anything is low. If you do combine them, just keep an eye out for the medicine seeming less effective, and check with your pharmacist or doctor before adding bacopa rather than changing anything on your own.

Bacopa is an Ayurvedic herb most often used for memory and thinking.
