Hydrochlorothiazide, Moexipril falls under QT INTERVAL-PROLONGING DRUGS — the group Cesium interacts with.

Theoretically, taking cesium concomitantly with other drugs that prolong the QT interval may increase the risk of ventricular arrhythmias and death.
Taking cesium can prolong the QT interval on electrocardiogram (ECG). In many cases, cesium-induced QT prolongation has led to serious adverse effects, including torsades de pointes, cardiac arrest, and death.

Let me be upfront about cesium first: it's sold as an alternative cancer treatment, but there's no solid evidence it works, and it's genuinely dangerous on its own. One of its biggest risks is messing with your heart's electrical timing (what we call QT prolongation), which can trigger life-threatening rhythms.

Here's where your Uniretic (hydrochlorothiazide with moexipril) comes in. The hydrochlorothiazide part is a water pill, and it can lower your potassium and magnesium levels. Low levels of those minerals make the heart even more vulnerable to cesium's QT effects, raising the chance of a serious arrhythmia. Even though this is based mostly on anecdotal reports, the risk is real enough that I'd say please don't combine them. Talk with your doctor or pharmacist before using any cesium product.

Theoretically, taking cesium concomitantly with other drugs that deplete potassium, such as diuretics, may increase the risk of hypokalemia.
Cesium supplements have been associated with hypokalemia in many case reports.

First, a bigger safety point: cesium chloride isn't a proven treatment for anything, and it can trigger serious, even fatal heart rhythm problems on its own. I'd steer clear of it regardless of your other medicines.

Now to your specific combination. Uniretic pairs hydrochlorothiazide, a water pill that already pushes potassium out through your urine, with moexipril. Cesium has been linked in several case reports to low potassium (hypokalemia). Stack the two together and you could lower your potassium even further. That can cause muscle cramps, weakness, fatigue, and irregular heartbeats. This concern is based on anecdotal reports and theory, not strong studies, but low potassium plus cesium's own heart risks is a combination I wouldn't gamble on. Please talk with your doctor or pharmacist before using any cesium product.
