Hydrochlorothiazide, Propranolol falls under PHOTOSENSITIZING DRUGS — the group Chlorophyllin interacts with.

Theoretically, concomitant use of chlorophyllin with photosensitizing drugs may have additive effects.
Chlorophyllin is a semi-synthetic derivative of chlorophyll. Chlorophyll has been reported to cause photosensitization. Orally, chlorophyll has also been associated with the development of pseudoporphyria in multiple case reports.

Here's the thing to know about Inderide, which combines hydrochlorothiazide (a water pill) and propranolol (a beta-blocker). The hydrochlorothiazide part can make your skin more sensitive to sunlight, so some people sunburn faster or break out in a rash on sun-exposed areas. Chlorophyllin has also been linked to sun sensitivity, so using both together could, in theory, add up and make your skin react more easily to UV light.

I want to be straight with you: this concern is largely theoretical and based mostly on case reports, not strong studies. It isn't about altering your blood pressure or heart rate. A simple, sensible move is good sun protection, sunscreen, a hat, covering up. If you notice a new rash or easy sunburn, check in with your pharmacist or doctor.
