Bupivacaine, Meloxicam falls under NONSTEROIDAL ANTI-INFLAMMATORY DRUGS (NSAIDs) — the group Chromium interacts with.

Here's the thing to know about Zynrelef, which pairs the numbing medicine bupivacaine with the anti-inflammatory meloxicam: the interaction on file actually runs the other direction from what most people expect. The chromium doesn't change how the drug works. Instead, the meloxicam (an NSAID) may nudge your body into absorbing and holding onto a bit more chromium. So if anything builds up here, it's the supplement, not the medication.

This is a minor, theoretical concern based on how these drugs behave in the lab, not on real patient reports, so I wouldn't lose sleep over it. Zynrelef is also usually a one-time dose placed in a surgical wound, so any effect would be brief. Still, mention your chromium use to your surgeon or pharmacist beforehand.
