Here's the thing to focus on: this combination pill contains aspirin, which is an NSAID (a prostaglandin blocker). The interaction works in the opposite direction from what you might expect. The aspirin doesn't get changed by chromium. Instead, NSAIDs like aspirin may help your body absorb and hold onto more chromium. So if anything, your chromium levels could nudge a little higher.

Honestly, this is a very minor, mostly theoretical concern based on how these drugs behave on paper, not on real-world problems people have reported. The codeine and antacid parts aren't involved here. For most folks taking normal doses, this won't cause noticeable issues. Still, if you take chromium daily, it's worth a quick mention to your pharmacist or doctor.
