The piece of this combo product I want to focus on is the codeine, which is an opioid pain reliever that already slows down the brain a bit. Corydalis yanhusuo is thought to have its own calming, sedative-type effects on the nervous system. Put the two together and they may add up, so you could feel extra drowsy, foggy, dizzy, or unusually relaxed. The aspirin, aluminum, and magnesium parts are not the concern here.
I want to be honest about the evidence: this is mostly theoretical, based on how the herb behaves in lab and animal studies, not from solid human trials. So it is a reasonable caution, not a red alert. If you do try both, go slow and avoid driving until you know how you feel. Please run it by your pharmacist or doctor first.

CYTOCHROME P450 2D6 (CYP2D6) SUBSTRATES

Corydalis yanhusuo contains berberine. In vitro research and preliminary clinical evidence show that berberine can inhibit CYP2D6. Theoretically, Corydalis yanhusuo might also inhibit CYP2D6.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
The piece of this combination product that matters here is the codeine. Codeine is actually a prodrug, meaning it does very little on its own. Your body needs the liver enzyme CYP2D6 to convert it into morphine, which is what actually relieves pain. Corydalis (and the berberine it contains) may block that enzyme.
So in this case, slowing CYP2D6 would likely make the codeine less effective, not more, because less of it gets turned into morphine. You might simply notice weaker pain relief. Keep in mind this is a theoretical concern based on lab data, not strong human studies. The aspirin and antacids aren't really affected. Before combining them, just check with your pharmacist or doctor.

Corydalis yanhusuo contains berberine. In vitro and in vivo research suggest that berberine can inhibit platelet aggregation. Theoretically, Corydalis yanhusuo might also inhibit platelet aggregation.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
This combination product contains aspirin, which already thins the blood a little by keeping platelets from clumping together. Corydalis yanhusuo may do something similar. In lab and animal studies, compounds in it (including berberine) appear to slow platelet activity too. Stack the two, and in theory you could bleed or bruise a bit more easily than from the aspirin alone.
I'll be honest with you: this is a theoretical concern based on test-tube and animal work, not solid human studies, so don't panic. Still, watch for warning signs like easy bruising, nosebleeds, dark or bloody stools, or bleeding that won't quit. Run it by your pharmacist or doctor before pairing them, especially if you take aspirin daily.
