Theoretically, Corydalis yanhusuo might have additive effects with antihypertensive drugs.
Corydalis yanhusuo contains berberine. Animal research suggests that berberine can have hypotensive effects. Also, a clinical study suggests that taking berberine in combination with amlodipine can lower systolic and diastolic blood pressure when compared with amlodipine alone. Theoretically, Corydalis yanhusuo might also reduce blood pressure.

Your Edarbyclor combines two blood pressure lowerers: azilsartan, which relaxes blood vessels, and chlorthalidone, a water pill that helps your body shed extra fluid and salt. Corydalis yanhusuo may have its own mild blood-pressure-lowering effect, so pairing the two could, in theory, push your numbers down a little more than expected.

I'll be honest, this concern is mostly theoretical, based on lab and animal studies plus a small study using a related compound. It isn't a strong or proven interaction. Still, if your pressure drops too far, you might feel dizzy, lightheaded, or tired, especially when standing up quickly. If you'd like to try this herb, check with your pharmacist or doctor first, and keep an eye on your blood pressure at home. Don't change your Edarbyclor on your own.

Here's the gist for your Edarbyclor, which combines azilsartan (a blood pressure medicine) with chlorthalidone (a water pill). Azilsartan is partly handled by a liver enzyme called CYP2C9. Corydalis may contain berberine, which can slow down that enzyme. In theory, that could let a bit more azilsartan build up in your blood, nudging your blood pressure lower than expected. You might notice dizziness, lightheadedness when standing, or feeling unusually tired.

I want to be honest though: this is only a theoretical concern based on how things work in the lab, not proven in real patients. Still, since you're already on two blood pressure medicines, it's worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor before adding corydalis.
