Here's the simple version: Corydalis yanhusuo contains berberine, a natural compound that may nudge your blood sugar down on its own. Since dulaglutide (Trulicity) already works to lower your blood sugar, pairing the two could, in theory, push your levels lower than you intend. That might mean more low blood sugar moments, things like shakiness, sweating, dizziness, a racing heart, or feeling foggy and weak.

I want to be honest though, this concern is theoretical, based on how these ingredients behave rather than solid human studies. It's not a reason to panic. If you do decide to use both, check your blood sugar a bit more closely and loop in your pharmacist or doctor first so they can guide you safely.

What Is Dulaglutide Injection Used For?

Brand name: Trulicity

Trulicity (dulaglutide) injection is used alongside diet and exercise to improve blood sugar control in adults and children 10 years and older with type 2 diabetes mellitus. It is not for type 1 diabetes.

Trulicity is also used in adults with type 2 diabetes who have established cardiovascular disease or multiple cardiovascular risk factors to lower the risk of major heart events — specifically cardiovascular death, non-fatal heart attack, or non-fatal stroke.
