Hydralazine, Hydrochlorothiazide falls under ANTIHYPERTENSIVE DRUGS — the group Corydalis Yanhusuo interacts with.

Theoretically, Corydalis yanhusuo might have additive effects with antihypertensive drugs.
Corydalis yanhusuo contains berberine. Animal research suggests that berberine can have hypotensive effects. Also, a clinical study suggests that taking berberine in combination with amlodipine can lower systolic and diastolic blood pressure when compared with amlodipine alone. Theoretically, Corydalis yanhusuo might also reduce blood pressure.

Your medicine combines two blood pressure lowerers: hydralazine (which relaxes and widens your blood vessels) and hydrochlorothiazide (a water pill that helps your body shed extra salt and fluid). Corydalis yanhusuo may have a mild blood pressure lowering effect of its own, so taking it alongside your medication could nudge your pressure a little lower than expected.

Right now this is mostly a theoretical concern based on how the herb behaves in lab and animal studies, not solid human proof, so I wouldn't panic. Still, watch for signs your pressure has dropped too far, like dizziness, lightheadedness when standing, a fast heartbeat, or feeling faint. Please loop in your pharmacist or doctor before adding this herb so they can keep an eye on things.
