Hydrochlorothiazide, Methyldopa falls under ANTIHYPERTENSIVE DRUGS — the group Corydalis Yanhusuo interacts with.

Theoretically, Corydalis yanhusuo might have additive effects with antihypertensive drugs.
Corydalis yanhusuo contains berberine. Animal research suggests that berberine can have hypotensive effects. Also, a clinical study suggests that taking berberine in combination with amlodipine can lower systolic and diastolic blood pressure when compared with amlodipine alone. Theoretically, Corydalis yanhusuo might also reduce blood pressure.

Your medicine here is a combo: hydrochlorothiazide (a water pill) plus methyldopa, both of which lower blood pressure. Corydalis yanhusuo may, at least in theory, have a mild blood-pressure-lowering effect of its own. So the worry is simple addition: stacking the herb on top of two drugs that already drop your pressure could push it a little too low.

If that happened, you might feel dizzy, lightheaded, tired, or faint when you stand up. Keep in mind this is rated theoretical, based mostly on lab and animal work, so it may not happen at all in real life. Still, since both ingredients pull in the same direction, it's worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor before combining them. Don't change anything on your own.
