Corydalis yanhusuo contains berberine. Animal research suggests that berberine can have hypotensive effects. Also, a clinical study suggests that taking berberine in combination with amlodipine can lower systolic and diastolic blood pressure when compared with amlodipine alone. Theoretically, Corydalis yanhusuo might also reduce blood pressure.

Your Viskazide combines two blood pressure lowerers: hydrochlorothiazide, a water pill, and pindolol, a beta-blocker. The concern here isn't about your liver breaking the medicine down. Instead, it's simpler: Corydalis yanhusuo may have a mild blood pressure lowering effect of its own, so stacking it on top of your medication could push your numbers down a little further than expected.

If that happens, you might feel lightheaded, dizzy, tired, or shaky when you stand up quickly. I'll be honest with you, though: this is a theoretical concern based mostly on lab and animal work, not strong human studies, so it may not amount to much. Still, please loop in your pharmacist or doctor before adding it, and check your blood pressure at home if you do.

Corydalis yanhusuo contains berberine. In vitro research and preliminary clinical evidence show that berberine can inhibit CYP2D6. Theoretically, Corydalis yanhusuo might also inhibit CYP2D6.

Your Viskazide combines two medicines: a water pill (hydrochlorothiazide) and a beta-blocker (pindolol). The piece that matters here is pindolol, which the body partly clears using a liver enzyme called CYP2D6. Corydalis contains compounds that may slow that enzyme down. If that happens, pindolol could build up a bit, so you might notice more of its usual effects, like a slower heart rate, lower blood pressure, dizziness, lightheadedness, or feeling unusually tired.

I want to be honest about the strength of this: it's a theoretical concern based on lab work, not solid human studies, so it may not amount to much in real life. Still, since this affects heart rate and blood pressure, please check with your pharmacist or doctor before adding Corydalis rather than starting it on your own.
