Hydroflumethiazide falls under ANTIHYPERTENSIVE DRUGS — the group Corydalis Yanhusuo interacts with.

Theoretically, Corydalis yanhusuo might have additive effects with antihypertensive drugs.
Corydalis yanhusuo contains berberine. Animal research suggests that berberine can have hypotensive effects. Also, a clinical study suggests that taking berberine in combination with amlodipine can lower systolic and diastolic blood pressure when compared with amlodipine alone. Theoretically, Corydalis yanhusuo might also reduce blood pressure.

Hydroflumethiazide (Saluron) is a water pill in the thiazide family, and one of its main jobs is to lower your blood pressure. Corydalis yanhusuo may have a mild blood-pressure-lowering effect of its own, partly from compounds like berberine. So the concern here is simple addition: putting the two together could push your blood pressure a little lower than the medicine alone.

If that happens, you might feel dizzy, lightheaded, tired, or wobbly when you stand up quickly. I want to be clear, though, that this is a theoretical interaction based mostly on lab and animal work, not strong human studies, so it may not amount to much. Still, please loop in your pharmacist or doctor before adding it, and keep an eye on your blood pressure readings.
