Theoretically, Corydalis yanhusuo might have additive effects with antihypertensive drugs.
Corydalis yanhusuo contains berberine. Animal research suggests that berberine can have hypotensive effects. Also, a clinical study suggests that taking berberine in combination with amlodipine can lower systolic and diastolic blood pressure when compared with amlodipine alone. Theoretically, Corydalis yanhusuo might also reduce blood pressure.

Twynsta combines two blood pressure medicines: telmisartan (an ARB) and amlodipine (a calcium channel blocker). Both work to relax your blood vessels and bring your numbers down. Corydalis yanhusuo contains compounds, including berberine, that may have a mild blood pressure lowering effect of their own. So the concern here is simply additive: the herb could nudge your pressure a little lower on top of what your medicine is already doing.

If your blood pressure drops too much, you might feel dizzy, lightheaded, tired, or unsteady, especially when standing up quickly. That said, this is a theoretical interaction based mostly on lab and animal data, so it's far from certain. Please don't change anything on your own. Just check in with your pharmacist or doctor, and keep an eye on your home blood pressure readings if you do combine them.

Corydalis yanhusuo contains berberine. In vitro research and preliminary clinical research show that berberine moderately inhibits CYP3A4. Theoretically, Corydalis yanhusuo might also inhibit CYP3A4.

Here's the gist for your Twynsta, which combines telmisartan and amlodipine. The amlodipine part is cleared by a liver enzyme called CYP3A4. Corydalis may contain compounds (like berberine) that can slow that enzyme down. In theory, that could let amlodipine build up a bit more than usual, which might nudge its blood-pressure-lowering effect and side effects up. Think ankle swelling, flushing, dizziness, headache, or feeling lightheaded when you stand.

I'll be honest with you though, this is a theoretical concern based on lab work, not solid human studies, so I wouldn't lose sleep over it. Still, since both products affect your blood pressure, it's worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor before combining them.
