Here's the simple version: cowhage seeds may have a mild blood-sugar-lowering effect of their own, at least in animal studies. Linagliptin (Tradjenta) already works to bring your blood sugar down, so stacking the two together could, in theory, push your sugar lower than expected. Linagliptin on its own rarely causes true lows, but pairing it with something that also nudges sugar down is worth watching.

I want to be honest about the evidence here: this is theoretical and comes from lab and animal work, not human studies, so it's far from certain. Still, if you do use both, keep an eye out for low-sugar signs like shakiness, sweating, dizziness, or feeling foggy. Please check with your pharmacist or doctor before combining them, and don't stop either one on your own.
