Drospirenone, Estetrol falls under POTASSIUM-SPARING DIURETICS — the group Dolomite interacts with.

Theoretically, serum magnesium levels might increase when dolomite is taken with potassium-sparing diuretics.
Potassium-sparing diuretics also have magnesium-sparing properties, which can counteract the magnesium losses associated with loop and thiazide diuretics. Dolomite contains magnesium, which may increase the risk for hypermagnesemia.

Here's the connection worth knowing. Your birth control pill Nextstellis contains drospirenone, which acts a bit like a mild potassium-sparing water pill. Along with holding onto potassium, that type of medication tends to help your body hold onto magnesium too. Dolomite itself is a source of magnesium, so combining the two could, in theory, let magnesium build up a little higher than usual.

I'll be honest with you: this is a theoretical concern based on how these things work, not something widely reported in real patients. For most healthy people with normal kidneys, it's unlikely to cause trouble. But because dolomite can also contain lead and other heavy metals, a cleaner calcium or magnesium product is usually the smarter pick. Please run it by your pharmacist or doctor first.
