Ethinyl Estradiol, Drospirenone falls under POTASSIUM-SPARING DIURETICS — the group Dolomite interacts with.

Theoretically, serum magnesium levels might increase when dolomite is taken with potassium-sparing diuretics.
Potassium-sparing diuretics also have magnesium-sparing properties, which can counteract the magnesium losses associated with loop and thiazide diuretics. Dolomite contains magnesium, which may increase the risk for hypermagnesemia.

Here's the connection most people miss with Yaz: the drospirenone part acts a bit like a potassium-sparing water pill, and one of its quirks is that it tends to hold onto minerals like potassium and magnesium rather than flushing them out. Dolomite adds extra magnesium (and calcium) on top of that. In theory, stacking the two could let magnesium climb higher than it should.

I'll be honest, this is a theoretical concern based on how these work, not something we see commonly. For someone with healthy kidneys, an occasional dolomite dose is unlikely to cause real trouble. But if magnesium ever did run high, you might feel unusually tired, flushed, weak, or nauseated. Because dolomite can also carry traces of lead and other metals, I'd pick a cleaner calcium/magnesium product and run it by your pharmacist first.
