Goji + Entrectinib
Entrectinib brand name: Rozlytrek.
Goji has a moderate interaction with Entrectinib. Theoretically, goji berry might inhibit CYP3A4 and reduce metabolism of CYP3A4 substrates.

Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES
Why this applies to Entrectinib
Entrectinib falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Goji interacts with.
In vitro research shows that goji berry juice inhibits CYP3A4 enzymes. Concomitant use with goji may decrease metabolism and increase levels of CYP3A4 substrates. However, this has not been reported in humans.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the situation with goji and your entrectinib (Rozlytrek). Your body relies on an enzyme called CYP3A4 to break down and clear entrectinib. Lab studies (done in test tubes, not in people) suggest goji may slow that enzyme down. If that happened in your body, entrectinib could clear more slowly and build up to higher levels than expected.
For a cancer medicine like this, higher levels can mean more side effects, things like dizziness, fatigue, swelling, constipation, changes in taste, or in some cases effects on heart rhythm. The good news is this is only a theoretical concern so far and hasn't been seen in actual patients. Occasional goji berries as a food are unlikely to matter much, but concentrated goji juice or supplements are worth running by your oncology team first.

About Entrectinib
What Is Entrectinib Used For?
Brand name: Rozlytrek
Rozlytrek is used to treat adult patients with ROS1-positive metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) — a type of lung cancer where the ROS1 gene is rearranged — as confirmed by an FDA-approved test.
Rozlytrek is also approved for adult and pediatric patients older than 1 month with solid tumors that have an NTRK gene fusion (a specific genetic alteration), detected by an FDA-approved test, that have spread or cannot be removed without causing serious harm, and have worsened after prior treatment or have no good treatment alternatives. This NTRK indication was granted accelerated approval based on tumor response rates; continued approval may depend on results from confirmatory trials.
