Here's the simple version: this combo pill contains acetaminophen (the same medicine in Tylenol), which your liver has to process. High-dose green tea extract supplements have, in rare cases, been tied to liver irritation. So the concern is that stacking the two could put a little extra strain on your liver. To be clear, this is a theoretical worry based on scattered case reports, not strong proof, and it's considered unlikely.
One thing worth knowing: just drinking a cup or two of green tea is very different from taking concentrated extract capsules, and the everyday beverage isn't the issue here. If you take a green tea extract supplement regularly, mention it to your pharmacist or doctor, especially if you have any liver problems or drink alcohol often.

Green tea contains caffeine. Due to the central nervous system (CNS) stimulant effects of caffeine, concomitant use with stimulant drugs can increase the risk of adverse effects.
Interaction has not been documented in well-controlled studies, however, the interaction has been demonstrated in some small human studies or in controlled animal studies in conjunction with multiple case reports..
Here's the simple version: your combination pill (Panlor or DHC Plus) already contains caffeine, and green tea brings caffeine to the party too. So the concern isn't really about how green tea changes your medicine. It's just about stacking caffeine on top of caffeine. The more you pile up, the more likely you are to feel jittery, anxious, shaky, have a racing heartbeat, or trouble sleeping.
This is mostly an expert-opinion, theoretical concern, and a cup or two of regular green tea is unlikely to cause trouble for most people. The bigger worry is concentrated green tea extract supplements or drinking a lot of caffeinated drinks alongside this medicine. If you notice your heart pounding or you feel wired, ease back on the green tea and check in with your pharmacist or doctor.

CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES

In vitro and in vivo research suggests that green tea can inhibit intestinal CYP3A and induce hepatic CYP3A4 enzymes. However, this effect is unlikely to be clinically significant, as green tea does not appear to affect CYP3A4 activity in humans.

Good news here: drinking green tea alongside your Panlor or DHC Plus is very unlikely to cause a real problem. This combo medicine contains dihydrocodeine, an opioid that your liver partly handles through an enzyme called CYP3A4. In a test tube, green tea can nudge that enzyme either way, but in actual people it doesn't seem to meaningfully change how this drug works.
So in practice, your usual cup of tea shouldn't make the dihydrocodeine stronger (extra drowsiness, constipation, slowed breathing) or weaker (less pain relief). The evidence behind this is weak, mostly lab-based. If you're using concentrated green tea extract capsules, that's a bigger dose, so it's worth a quick chat with your pharmacist just to be safe.
