Danaparoid (Orgaran) is an injectable blood thinner that lowers your blood's ability to clot, usually given in the hospital to prevent or treat dangerous clots. Indole-3-carbinol, the compound from broccoli and cabbage that's also sold as a supplement, has shown in lab dish studies only that it may keep platelets from clumping together. Put simply, both can nudge you toward easier bleeding, so combining them could in theory add up.

I want to be honest about how thin this evidence is: it comes from test tube research, not real people, so we don't truly know if it matters in everyday life. Still, since danaparoid is already a potent anticoagulant, it's worth a quick chat with your doctor or pharmacist before adding I3C. Watch for unusual bruising, nosebleeds, or bleeding that won't stop.
