Ryzodeg combines two insulins (aspart and degludec) that lower your blood sugar after meals and throughout the day. Here's the thing about jackfruit: small studies suggest that concentrated forms, like jackfruit flour or leaf extract, can nudge your blood sugar down on their own. If you stack that effect on top of your insulin, the two together could push your sugar a little too low.

Low blood sugar (hypoglycemia) can show up as shakiness, sweating, dizziness, confusion, or a racing heart. Keep in mind this concern is mostly theoretical and tied to concentrated supplements, not a normal serving of jackfruit as a snack. If you plan to use jackfruit products regularly, check your sugars closely and talk with your pharmacist or doctor before changing anything.
