Hydrocodone, Pseudoephedrine, Chlorpheniramine falls under CYTOCHROME P450 2D6 (CYP2D6) SUBSTRATES — the group N,n-dmpea interacts with.

In vitro research shows that N,N-DMPEA strongly inhibits cytochrome P450 2D6 (CYP2D6). Theoretically, concomitant use with drugs metabolized by CYP2D6 might increase the risk for adverse effects from these drugs.
Some drugs metabolized by CYP2D6 include amitriptyline (Elavil), clozapine (Clozaril), codeine, desipramine (Norpramin), donepezil (Aricept), fentanyl (Duragesic), flecainide (Tambocor), fluoxetine (Prozac), meperidine (Demerol), methadone (Dolophine), metoprolol (Lopressor, Toprol XL), olanzapine (Zyprexa), ondansetron (Zofran), tramadol (Ultram), trazodone (Desyrel), and others.

Here's the wrinkle with this combo: the hydrocodone in Zutripro is actually a prodrug. Your body uses an enzyme called CYP2D6 to turn part of it into hydromorphone, which is a big part of how it relieves pain and cough. Lab studies suggest N,N-DMPEA can block that same enzyme. If that holds true in people, less hydrocodone gets converted, so you might get weaker pain or cough relief than expected.

On the flip side, the pseudoephedrine in this product is already a stimulant, and N,N-DMPEA is marketed as a stimulant too. Stacking them could add up to a racing heart, jitteriness, or higher blood pressure. Right now this is all theory from test-tube data, not human studies, so I wouldn't panic. But please run it by your pharmacist or doctor before combining them.
