Ceritinib falls under QT INTERVAL-PROLONGING DRUGS — the group Sida Cordifolia interacts with.

Theoretically, Sida cordifolia might increase the risk of additive QT interval prolongation when taken with QT interval-prolonging drugs.
Sida cordifolia contains ephedrine. Clinical research shows that ephedrine from another herb, ephedra, can prolong the QT interval.

Here's the concern with pairing Sida cordifolia and ceritinib (Zykadia). Ceritinib is already known to stretch out the heart's electrical reset time, something doctors call QT prolongation. Sida cordifolia contains ephedrine, a stimulant that can also lengthen the QT interval and push up your heart rate and blood pressure. Stack the two together and you may add to that effect, which in rare cases can trigger a dangerous irregular heartbeat.

This isn't a prodrug situation. The worry here is simply two QT-stretching effects piling on top of each other. The evidence for the supplement's part is fairly limited and partly theoretical, but because ceritinib is a cancer drug with real heart risks, this isn't one to gamble on. Please check with your oncologist or pharmacist before using this supplement.
