Indacaterol falls under QT INTERVAL-PROLONGING DRUGS — the group Sida Cordifolia interacts with.

Theoretically, Sida cordifolia might increase the risk of additive QT interval prolongation when taken with QT interval-prolonging drugs.
Sida cordifolia contains ephedrine. Clinical research shows that ephedrine from another herb, ephedra, can prolong the QT interval.

Indacaterol (Arcapta Neohaler, Onbrez Breezhaler) is a long-acting inhaler that opens up your airways to help you breathe easier with COPD. One thing to know about it is that it can slightly affect your heart's rhythm, specifically something called the QT interval. Sida cordifolia carries a real concern here because it contains ephedrine, a stimulant that can also stretch out that same QT interval.

Put the two together and the effects may add up, which could raise the risk of an abnormal heartbeat, a racing heart, or palpitations. This is mostly a theoretical worry, but the heart and blood pressure risks from this herb are real enough that I'd steer clear of it. Please check with your pharmacist or doctor before combining them.
