Here's the simple version: tenecteplase (TNKase) is a powerful clot-busting drug given in the hospital, usually as a one-time emergency injection for a heart attack. It works by breaking down clots, which already raises bleeding risk on its own. Tree turmeric, thanks to its berberine, may make platelets a little less sticky, so in theory adding it could nudge that bleeding risk higher.

I want to be honest about the evidence, though. This concern comes only from lab and animal studies, not from people, so it's mostly theoretical. Since tenecteplase is given in a tightly monitored emergency setting, your care team controls everything around it. Still, always tell your doctor or pharmacist about any supplement you take so nothing gets overlooked.
