Chaparral Leaf Extract
Description:Chaparral, also known as creosote bush, is a type of flowering shrub that is native to the southwestern United States and parts of Mexico. It is characterized by its small, yellow flowers and its ability to grow in dry, desert climates. The leaves of the chaparral plant contain a number of chemical compounds and the plant is sometimes used as a natural remedy for pain, inflammation, and other health problems. It is important to note that chaparral has been linked to rare cases of kidney and liver toxicity. Due to this, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has advised individuals against taking products containing chaparral.

Bitter Orange peel extract
Description:Bitter orange, also known as Seville orange or sour orange, is a type of citrus fruit that is native to Southeast Asia. It is closely related to the sweet orange, but has a much more bitter and sour flavor. Bitter orange is a rich source of vitamin C and other nutrients, including calcium, potassium, and folate. It is also a good source of antioxidants. Bitter orange has been used in traditional medicine for a number of purported health benefits, including improved digestion, improved immune function, and reduced inflammation. Bitter orange also contains synephrine, a compound similar in structure to ephedrine. Synephrine is thought to have stimulant effects and is often used to increase energy, improve athletic performance, and as a weight loss supplement. When used as a dietary supplement, the dosage is typically standardized by its synephrine content.

Calamus Root Extract
Description:Calamus is a grass-like plant commonly mostly commonly found in Eastern Europe in swamps or along the banks of waterways. It is also used to induce vomiting, induce sweating, improve memory and for the treatment of inflammatory disorders. The FDA does not allow calamus in food due research showing it has carcinogenic effects, likely due to the beta-asarone content, which can vary heavily depending on the species.

Senna leaf extract
Description:Senna is a plant that belongs to the legume family. It is native to tropical and subtropical regions of the world, and it is widely cultivated for its medicinal properties. Senna contains compounds called sennosides, which are found in the leaves, stem, and pods of the plant. These compounds stimulate the muscles in the walls of the intestine, causing the bowel to contract and move waste through the intestines. Senna is used as a natural laxative to help relieve constipation. It is often marketed as a 'natural vegetable laxative'. It is available in a number of forms, including tablets, capsules, and a liquid extract. Although it can cause dependence with long-term use (i.e., the body becomes dependent on it for regular bowel movements), when compared to other stimulant laxatives, like bisacodyl, it is considered safer in that regard.
