Here's the thing to keep an eye on with this combo: your medicine contains ephedrine, which is itself a stimulant that can speed up the heart and raise blood pressure. Adrafinil turns into modafinil in your body, and modafinil also has wakefulness-promoting, stimulant-like effects. Stack the two together and those effects can add up.

What that might feel like is a racing or pounding heart, higher blood pressure, jitteriness, anxiety, headache, or trouble sleeping. To be fair, this is a theoretical concern based on how these drugs work, not something proven in studies, so don't panic. Still, since adrafinil is unregulated and rough on the liver, please run it past your pharmacist or doctor before pairing it with your ephedrine.
