Here's the gist for Yosprala, which pairs aspirin with omeprazole. The omeprazole half is cleared by a liver enzyme called CYP2C19. Adrafinil turns into modafinil in your body, and modafinil may slow that enzyme down. In theory, this could let omeprazole build up a bit, so you'd have slightly more acid-blocking effect. The aspirin portion isn't really affected by this enzyme.

The good news: this is only a theoretical concern, based on lab studies, not real patient reports. Omeprazole is also very forgiving, so a small bump usually isn't dangerous. Still, since adrafinil is unregulated and tough on the liver, I'd check with your pharmacist or doctor before combining them.

Here's the gist with this combo pill (Yosprala). The omeprazole half is cleared partly by a liver enzyme called CYP2C9. In a test tube, modafinil (the active form your body makes from adrafinil) appeared to slow that enzyme down a bit. In theory, that could let omeprazole linger a little longer in your system. The aspirin portion isn't really driven by this pathway, so it's mostly an omeprazole question.

Honestly, this is a theoretical concern based on lab data, not real-world reports, so I wouldn't lose sleep over it. Higher omeprazole exposure usually just means more of its usual effects, like headache or stomach upset, nothing dramatic. Since adrafinil is unregulated and tough on the liver, I'd run it by your pharmacist or doctor before combining the two.

Here's the gist for Yosprala (the aspirin plus omeprazole combo). Adrafinil turns into modafinil in your body, and modafinil is a mild 'speed-up' signal for a liver enzyme called CYP3A4. The part of your medication that this could touch is the omeprazole, which is partly handled by that enzyme. In theory, speeding it up could clear omeprazole a little faster and slightly weaken its acid-blocking job, meaning a touch less stomach protection. That matters here because the whole point of pairing it with aspirin is to guard your stomach from ulcers.

This is only a theoretical concern based on how these drugs work, not something proven in studies, so it's likely minor. Still, since adrafinil is unregulated and tough on the liver, please run it by your pharmacist or doctor first.
