Sodium Nitroprusside falls under ANTIHYPERTENSIVE DRUGS — the group Adrafinil interacts with.

Theoretically, adrafinil might reduce the effects of antihypertensive drugs.
Adrafinil is a precursor to the stimulant prescription drug modafinil. Modafinil has been shown to increase diastolic and systolic blood pressure. Retrospective analyses show that patients taking modafinil had a small but increased rate of requiring new antihypertensive drugs or increased use of antihypertensive drugs when compared with placebo.

Here's the gist: your body turns adrafinil into modafinil, a stimulant that can nudge blood pressure up. Sodium nitroprusside works in the opposite direction, since it's a powerful IV medicine doctors use to bring high blood pressure down quickly, usually in a hospital setting. In theory, the blood-pressure-raising effect of modafinil could partly work against what nitroprusside is trying to do.

I want to be honest about the evidence here, though. This concern is theoretical, based on how these drugs work, not on real cases of people combining them. Realistically, nitroprusside is given in a closely monitored hospital setting where your blood pressure is watched minute to minute. Still, never start or stop anything on your own. Let your care team know about any supplements you use.
