Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES
Why this applies to Tisotumab Vedotin-Tftv
Tisotumab Vedotin-Tftv falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Adrafinil interacts with.
Adrafinil is a precursor to the stimulant prescription drug modafinil. Modafinil has been shown to weakly induce CYP3A4 activity.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the idea behind this pairing. Adrafinil turns into modafinil in your body, and modafinil can gently speed up a liver enzyme called CYP3A4. Tivdak (tisotumab vedotin) is an antibody-drug conjugate, and the toxic payload it carries (a chemo agent called MMAE) is partly handled by that same CYP3A4 pathway. In theory, speeding the enzyme up could clear the active drug a little faster and slightly weaken the cancer-fighting effect.
I want to be honest with you though: this concern is theoretical and based on how the drugs work on paper, not on real patient studies. Even so, Tivdak is serious cancer therapy where you don't want anything chipping away at how well it works. Please run any nootropic or supplement past your oncologist or pharmacist before combining it.
