Streptokinase is a powerful clot-busting drug given in the hospital during emergencies like a heart attack or a major clot. It works by actively breaking down clots, so bleeding is already its main risk. The concern here is simple: lab and animal studies hint that andrographis may make platelets (the cells that help you clot) a little less sticky. Stacked on top of streptokinase, that could in theory nudge your bleeding risk higher, meaning easier bruising, oozing, or more serious bleeding.

Keep in mind this is theoretical, based only on test-tube and animal work, not human studies. Since streptokinase is only used under close medical supervision, your care team will be watching you closely. Still, tell your doctor or pharmacist about any supplements like andrographis beforehand.
