Ashwagandha + Erythromycin Gluceptate
Erythromycin Gluceptate brand name: Erythromycin Gluceptate.
Ashwagandha has a minor interaction with Erythromycin Gluceptate. Theoretically, ashwagandha might decrease the levels and clinical effects of CYP3A4 substrates.

Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES
Why this applies to Erythromycin Gluceptate
Erythromycin Gluceptate falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Ashwagandha interacts with.
In vitro research shows that ashwagandha extract induces CYP3A4 enzymes.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the gist for this pairing. Erythromycin is partly processed by a liver enzyme called CYP3A4. Some early lab research hints that ashwagandha may speed up that enzyme. In theory, a faster enzyme could clear erythromycin a little quicker, which might slightly lower its levels and make the antibiotic less effective at fighting your infection.
I want to be honest with you: this concern comes only from test-tube studies, not from real people, so it's rated minor and unlikely to cause real trouble. Still, since erythromycin is treating an active infection where full strength matters, it's worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor before combining them. Please don't stop or change either one on your own.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Erythromycin Gluceptate page
“Grapefruit is the entry to know first on the Erythromycin Gluceptate page. Clinical research shows it blocks CYP3A4, the drug-clearing enzyme this antibiotic also inhibits, so levels of many medicines can climb higher than intended.”

Ashwagandha is an Ayurvedic herb most often taken to help with stress, anxiety, and sleep, and some small studies suggest it may help, though the evidence is still limited.
