Acetaminophen, Chlorpheniramine, Dextromethorphan, Pseudoephedrine falls under CYTOCHROME P450 1A2 (CYP1A2) SUBSTRATES — the group Bacopa interacts with.
Research on the effects of bacopa extracts on CYP1A2 enzymes is conflicting. Some in vitro evidence shows that bacopa extract can moderately and non-competitively inhibit CYP1A2, while other in vitro evidence suggests that any effect is unlikely to be clinically significant.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
This combination cold product (Tylenol Cold) bundles four active ingredients, and the concern here is a lab-based one. In test-tube studies, bacopa may mildly slow down an enzyme called CYP1A2. If that happened in your body, the worry is that drug levels could creep up a bit, which in theory might mean more drowsiness or sedation from the chlorpheniramine, or a touch more jitteriness from the pseudoephedrine.
The reassuring part is that this is only theoretical, and even the lab results disagree with each other. None of these four ingredients depends heavily on CYP1A2, so a real-world problem is unlikely. Still, if you take bacopa regularly and use this medicine, it never hurts to run it by your pharmacist, especially if you notice extra grogginess.

Research on the effects of bacopa extracts on CYP3A4 enzymes is conflicting. Some in vitro evidence suggests that bacopa extract can moderately and competitively inhibit CYP3A4, while other in vitro evidence suggests that any effect is unlikely to be clinically significant.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
This cold and cough combo packs four active ingredients, and the dextromethorphan portion is partly handled by a liver enzyme called CYP3A4. In test-tube studies, bacopa might slow that enzyme a little. If it did, dextromethorphan could build up slightly, which in theory means more drowsiness, dizziness, or feeling foggy. The chlorpheniramine in here already causes sleepiness, so any added effect could stack on top.
Here's the honest part: this is only lab and animal data, and even those studies disagree. For most people taking this product for a few days, I wouldn't expect a real problem. Still, if you take bacopa regularly, it's worth a quick word with your pharmacist before combining them.

ANTICHOLINERGIC DRUGS
3 of 3Acetaminophen, Chlorpheniramine, Dextromethorphan, Pseudoephedrine also falls under ANTICHOLINERGIC DRUGS.
Bacopa seems to inhibit acetylcholinesterase and might increase acetylcholine levels, which could counteract the effects of anticholinergic drugs. Similarly, anticholinergic drugs might counteract the cholinergic effects of bacopa.

The piece of this combo product that matters here is chlorpheniramine, the antihistamine. It works partly by blocking acetylcholine, a brain and body messenger. Bacopa seems to nudge things in the opposite direction by raising acetylcholine levels. So in theory, taking bacopa regularly could slightly dampen what chlorpheniramine does, and chlorpheniramine could blunt any memory benefit you're hoping to get from bacopa.
I want to be honest: this is a theoretical concern based on how these things work, not real-world reports of problems. For occasional cold relief, it's unlikely to cause trouble. The other ingredients (acetaminophen, dextromethorphan, pseudoephedrine) aren't really involved. If you take bacopa daily, just mention it to your pharmacist or doctor so they can keep an eye on things.
