Naproxen, Pseudoephedrine falls under CYTOCHROME P450 1A2 (CYP1A2) SUBSTRATES — the group Bacopa interacts with.

Theoretically, bacopa might increase the levels and adverse effects of CYP1A2 substrates.
Research on the effects of bacopa extracts on CYP1A2 enzymes is conflicting. Some in vitro evidence shows that bacopa extract can moderately and non-competitively inhibit CYP1A2, while other in vitro evidence suggests that any effect is unlikely to be clinically significant.

Here's the gist with Aleve Cold and Sinus, which pairs naproxen (a pain and inflammation reliever) with pseudoephedrine (a decongestant). The concern on file is that bacopa might gently slow down a liver enzyme called CYP1A2. If that happened, these medicines could clear a bit slower and build up, which in theory could mean more of their usual side effects, things like stomach upset or irritation from the naproxen, or a jittery, wired feeling, a faster heartbeat, or higher blood pressure from the pseudoephedrine.

That said, the evidence here is weak. It comes only from lab studies, and even those disagree on whether bacopa affects this enzyme enough to matter in real people. So I wouldn't lose sleep over it, but if you take both regularly, just mention it to your pharmacist or doctor.

Here's the situation with Aleve Cold and Sinus, which combines naproxen (an anti-inflammatory pain reliever) with pseudoephedrine (a decongestant). The naproxen part is partly cleared by a liver enzyme called CYP2C9. In lab dish studies, bacopa has shown a possible ability to slow that enzyme down, which could in theory let naproxen build up a bit and lead to more of its usual side effects, like stomach upset, heartburn, or irritation of the stomach lining.

I want to be honest though: this is very much a theoretical concern. It comes only from test-tube research, and even those studies disagree with each other. For most people taking bacopa occasionally, this is unlikely to cause real problems. Still, if you use this combo regularly or have a sensitive stomach, run it by your pharmacist or doctor first.
