Theoretically, caffeine may increase the risk of bleeding if used with anticoagulant or antiplatelet drugs.
Caffeine is reported to have antiplatelet activity. Theoretically, it might increase the risk of bleeding when used concomitantly with these agents; however, this interaction has not been reported in humans.

Here is the funny twist with this one: the product you are asking about, Anacin, already contains both aspirin and caffeine together. Aspirin works by making your platelets less sticky, which is how it thins the blood. Caffeine, in lab studies, has shown a little bit of its own anti-clotting activity on top of that.

So in theory, adding even more caffeine (say several cups of coffee or an energy drink) on top of your aspirin-caffeine pill could nudge your bleeding risk up a touch. Watch for things like easy bruising, nosebleeds, or a stomach that gets upset. Honestly though, this is based on test-tube and animal research and has never actually been reported in people, so I would not lose sleep over it. If you take aspirin daily, just check with your pharmacist.

Here's the thing that's easy to miss: this product (Anacin) already contains caffeine right alongside the aspirin. So if you drink coffee, tea, energy drinks, or take a separate caffeine pill on top of it, you're essentially stacking caffeine on caffeine. That can nudge you toward the classic too-much-caffeine feelings, like a jittery or shaky sensation, a racing or pounding heartbeat, restlessness, an upset stomach, or trouble falling asleep.

To be fair, this is more of a theoretical, expert-opinion concern than something proven in strong studies, and for most healthy adults a normal cup of coffee won't be a big deal. But if you have a heart condition, anxiety, or you're sensitive to caffeine, it's worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor before combining them.
