Bendroflumethiazide, Potassium falls under PHOTOSENSITIZING DRUGS — the group Chlorophyllin interacts with.

Theoretically, concomitant use of chlorophyllin with photosensitizing drugs may have additive effects.
Chlorophyllin is a semi-synthetic derivative of chlorophyll. Chlorophyll has been reported to cause photosensitization. Orally, chlorophyll has also been associated with the development of pseudoporphyria in multiple case reports.

Here's the thing to know about your water pill, bendroflumethiazide (the potassium version just adds potassium to replace what the diuretic flushes out). Like other thiazide-type diuretics, it can make your skin more sensitive to sunlight, so some people sunburn more easily or get a rash on sun-exposed areas. Chlorophyllin has also been linked to sun sensitivity in lab and case reports, so taking both together could, in theory, add up and make your skin react a bit more to the sun.

This is mostly a theoretical concern, not something that happens to everyone, so don't panic. Just be a little extra careful with sunscreen, hats, and shade while you're on both. If you notice unusual burning, blistering, or a rash, check in with your pharmacist or doctor before making any changes.
